INDIMET COLD FORGING
Recognizing the sky-high demand for cold-forged components, Indimet bought Ramind Cold Forge in 2004. In 2011, the combined powerhouse relocated to a much larger, 60,000 square foot facility on five acres of land in Ranipet, India.
Our R&D team developed and refined an innovative process to cold-forge unique geometries (valve housings) and materials (exotic alloys) with no material losses. This means that our customers are able to purchase components at a much lower cost than that of alternative manufacturing methods such as machining out of bar.
With five existing international patents on our cold-forged processes, we’re constantly developing new cold-forging techniques to reduce material loss and allow for a superior performing component.
